Green Tara Mantra

We all  meet fearful situations at all times and it is not healthy to the mind to have fear all the time.

By practicing Tara it is possible to gain fearlessness. Even if you are not a Buddhist, you can recite her mantra and take her as a friend and protector.

If we approach our practice with the principle of wanting to become Tara, focusing our attention wholeheartedly on this kind of action, then we become that type of being, gradually we will increase that quality.

The practice of Tara is powerful to help us overcome our fears, reduce stress, achieve a better future, heal physical and mental illness, as well as improve our relationships with ourselves and others.

Tara protects us from eight great spiritual fears externally symbolized by animals and trying situations described as follows: Eight Great Fears (External and internal):
  1. elephants = ignorance
  2. lions = pride
  3. fire = anger
  4. poisonous snakes = jealousy
  5. thieves = erroneous philosophies, wrong view
  6. imprisonment = greed
  7. water = desire and attachment
  8. demons = doubts
